Spectator Spotlight

Spectator Spotlight is a group project created and completed for the UCLA Digital Humanities Department. It examined in total six categories of audience demographics of fourty-five movies, as well as various metadata on those movies, such as their producing studio and their directors. Our research is a deep dive into the audience watching movies based on data collected from IMdB, the Motion Picture Association of America Theatrical Market Statistics annual report, and Box Office Mojo.

We utilized WordPress, Tableau, Timeline JS, Breve, and Palladio in order to create a website, data visualizations, and data analysis to conduct our research.
